Refund policy

At Kalakriti, we take pride in offering thoughtfully designed homeware—ranging from handcrafted ceramics and refined glassware to timeless wooden pieces—each crafted with care, precision, and an eye for detail.

We want you to love your purchase, but if you are not fully satisfied, this Return & Exchange Policy outlines the terms and process for returning or exchanging items bought from our website.

1) Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

         Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned in original packaging with an original bill (if any).

         If an incorrect product was delivered to you, i.e., the product does not match the item description mentioned on the website or the wrong product is delivered.

         Products must be returned within 7 days from date of delivery.

         Only regular priced items are eligible; sale or discounted products are not eligible for return/exchange unless defective.

         We do not accept returns for items damaged due to misuse or improper handling after delivery.

         Orders placed online cannot be returned at physical offline stores.

   For our products which are artisanal and hand-made, there might be slight differences in texture, color and size. These natural aberrations are not considered a defect. We would urge our lovely customers to consider that for such products, the artisans are making each piece individually - the variations add uniqueness to each product.

         For bulk orders or customized orders, the above policy does not apply. Returns will be discussed on a case by case basis for such orders.

2) Non-Returnable Items

• Gift cards, personalized/customized products, and items purchased during clearance or festival sales are not eligible for return or exchange.

• Products damaged due to negligence, improper use, or modification are not covered.

3) Return & Exchange Process

• To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at digital@kalakriti.store with your order number and reason for return and in case of defective or incorrect product, please send us images and videos of the item showing the defect at digital@kalakriti.store

• Once approved, you will be guided through the pickup/return shipping process.

• Products must be securely packed to avoid damage in transit.

• In case of an exchange, the replacement will be dispatched once the returned item passes quality check.

4) Refunds

Once the product reaches our warehouse, we will inspect the product and once our inspection team confirms that the product received is in acceptable condition, as dispatched from our warehouse, Refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 7-10 working days after receiving and inspecting the returned product.

• Shipping charges, COD charges, and gift wrapping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

5) Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Products

• If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, notify us within 24 hours of delivery with unboxing images or videos.

• We will arrange a free replacement or full refund (excluding shipping) once verified.

6) Cancellations

• Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement by contacting our customer support.

• Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled.
